从前，有一个地主闲着没事，常出些难题刁难人，以显示自己的本领。一天，他戴着眼镜，身穿长衫，手撑凉伞，出外游山玩水，被一个正在耕地的农民看见了。农民对着牛狠狠地骂道：瘟牛，东晃西荡不走正道，眼瞎啦！说着就是一鞭子。
地主听后越想越不对味；这不明明是在骂我吗？他站在地头不走了，想等农民耕回来时狠狠地骂他一顿。
嗨！嗨！农民赶着耕牛过来了。快到地头时，农民突然松了手上的犁，然后便一手拉牢牛绳，一手抓起一团泥巴，使劲往牛屁股里塞。地主正瞪圆双眼准备发作，一看农民这突出其来的举动忍不住笑了。他问农民：喂，你这是干啥？农民回答说：我算计它等会要放臭屁，先把它糊住！
